Product Review: Ministar Leather Baby Shoes from Target

Since Mason cruises all over the place and is almost walking, we've decided it's time for shoes. I'm a fan of Robeez® but the ones I've tried are too narrow for Mason's chubby little feet, plus they're kinda pricey. I discovered these Ministar shoes at Target and they are awesome! They're made of genuine leather, have a suede sole plus they cost less than the Robeez®.

My New Toy

I posted a while back about thinking of purchasing a DSLR camera, and I am proud to say that I am now the new owner of a new Nikon D3000. This baby is awesome and I've captured some really great shots despite the fact that I haven't learned how to use the camera to its fullest potential.

A Trip to the Aquarium

The other day we ventured out to the Birch Aquarium at Scripps. It was my first time going and Mason's too. We had been looking forward to taking him for quite some time but had to wait until he was old enough to actually be interested in seeing the exhibits. The sea horse exhibit was great as were the tide pools, and we arrived just in time to view the feeding frenzy in the 70,000 gallon kelp forest tank. It was really cool.
