Mason hearts bath time.

At the Pumpkin Patch

So we took Mason to his first-ever pumpkin patch this weekend. I was so much looking forward to this even though I know he's too young to care... but we had fun anyways. Fall is by far my favorite time of year so I'm all for this family stuff! There was a petting zoo, pony rides, a bake sale and, of course, pumpkins.

After scribbling a few play dates into my current desk calendar, I realized that there are only TWO MONTHS left of 2009. Check out these super cute desk calendars from Paper Source. Love!

Cruisin'

I purchased this walker for Mason off of Craigslist. It was the best $10 I ever spent!

Wish List: Graphic tees from Baobab

I came across these terrific tees from Baobab, an Australian based company all about beautiful, wearable basics for babies and toddlers. Love them!

I need a new camera.

As Mason becomes more mobile, it is absolutely impossible to get a good, non-blurry photo of his adorableness. I'm currently using a regular digital camera (or my phone) to take photos, but they are coming out less than satisfactory. Ever since our friend, Dave, came over for a photo shoot, I've been obsessing over investing in a nice DSLR camera, something that will be with us for years and years, hence the word investment. But these babies come with a hefty price tag, something folks like me can't just go out and buy on a whim. It's going to take some serious investigating and deal shopping! Right now, the top runners are the Nikon D60 10.2MP DSLR camera and the Nikon D90 12.6MP DSLR, both come with nice zoom lenses to capture all the action. We shall see.

The Tooth, Part Two

So Mason has sprouted another tooth! This time it's on the top, opposite side. He looks like a Jack-O-Lantern... just in time for Halloween!

Obsession: Skip*Hop

As soon as I came across the super cute products by Skip*Hop, I've become addicted. From their clean and simple design to their innovation of safer, smarter toys, Skip*Hop is at the top of my list.

A few of my recent purchases: the Farmyard Funny Face cow mirror, the Tubby bath toy organizer and the Pronto canvas portable diaper changing kit.

Overalls

My brother gave Mason the cutest overalls a while back and now they finally fit! Actually, they are on the smaller side - yikes. Sometimes things just sit in the closet because you think they're still too big. And then, WHAM!, you put them on your child and realize you've got only precious weeks, or even days, until he'll have outgrown them. So if you see Mason in the same pair of tan Carhartt overalls in the coming weeks, you'll know why.

We need your vote!

I never do this, but I entered Mason in a casting call for BabyGap and we need your vote to make him the fan favorite. You can view his photo and vote for him here.

Incentives (besides bragging rights) are photos of Mason appearing in Gap stores nation-wide in February 2010, $500 Gap giftcard and VIP tickets to Disney's The Lion King in NYC. If we are crowned the Fan Favorite winner, we'll receive a seven-day/six-night family vacation to either Turks & Caicos or Jamaica. Voting runs from September 22, 2009 through November 17, 2009, so please feel free to vote as many times as you like! We promise to send you a postcard.
